Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. My girlfriend and I stayed at Kanade in September 2024. The ryokan offers a beautiful interior and room, as well as a convenient location (there are two bus stops nearby, allowing easy access to anywhere in Kyoto). The room also has a great view of the garden. We ordered breakfast at the hotel as well. Despite some issues in scheduling breakfast for us, thanks to the excellent and well-coordinated work of the staff and chefs, we were able to enjoy a wonderful breakfast that same morning. The beds are very comfortable, and there’s a lovely yukata set for two in the room. We liked everything and would be happy to stay again. Special thanks to the hotel staff who worked hard to make our stay comfortable and resolved any minor issues as quickly as possible.

Featuring an on-site public hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant, Yuno Yado Shoei is located an 8-minute walk away from JR Tambaguchi Station. We really appreciated the helpful staff, the comfortable room, the wonderful breakfast and the onsen!

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. The place is beautiful. Its peaceful and surrounded by nature, but very close to center of yown and all the important spits. You can get anywhere walking. The staff and the monks are nice friendly and very helpful, even with us non japanese speakers, they were so patient and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Especially enjoyed the onsen. At night, you can hear the rain and the frogs, loved it! The breakfast was amazing!

I highly recommend this place Location is great and the room quite big enough for all the family In bonus, we had private onsen for just the 4 of us everyday with no extra charge and a private tea ceremony performed by the owner's mother. This was my favorite hotel. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was sick from food poisoning and could not enjoy it to the max, but the staff was extremely good to me. I cannot thank them enough. The futon beds were extremely comfortable, all the structure really took me back to almost 200 years ago. I really wanted to get the traditional breakfast, but I was too sick so I got the western one that was delicious. Cant wait to be back.
