Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Everything! Charming little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Staff speaks English which is very nice! Spacious and beautiful room with comfortable futons and even a Super Nintendo with a big screen connected. Private onsens free to use, 24hrs, no reservation of timeslots thankfully, just walk in when the door is open. We got a complimentary bottle of milk on check-in. Cool game room with massage chair, arcade, games, and feet massagers, very welcome after all the walking we had been doing (ohhhh Japan). We really loved this place!

Chuzenji Pension localiza-se em Nikko, a 9 minutos a pé de Cascatas Kegon e a 16 km de Santuário Nikko Toshogu. The location is perfect, amazing lake views, close to the falls and free parking. The lady is adorable, she goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. The restaurant house is very cute. Food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast, and the vibe very cozy as there are not that many rooms. Baths were nice and warm and it was great to be able to have them privately.

Hacho no Yu tem bicicletas gratuitas, jardim, um salão partilhado e terraço em Nikko. Such a beautiful hotel with lovely, friendly staff, excellent food and stunning onsens! We would absolutely stay here again if we were back.

Hotel Hanaan localiza-se em Nikko, a 15 km de Santuário Nikko Toshogu e 17 km de Estação Ferroviária de Tobu Nikko. The staff were so kind and made sure you understood them, best customer service I’ve ever had. Also, we had a traditional room with a private bath and it was perfect. The diner and breakfast were also really good! 10/10 I will come back someday!

While the location was a bit out of the way (roughly 25min drive from Takasaki station), it was in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom. The room we had was the biggest out of all the places we stayed in Japan, was clean and comfortable, and had a private garden with covered deck and outdoor bath, which was absolute bliss after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The hospitality shown to us by the staff was exceptional, and we had no problem communicating through limited Japanese/English. They served traditional meals, which were beautifully presented and a delight to eat, having small servings of lots of different things. We made use of the free bicycles and had a great time exploring the area while getting a bit of exercise.

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) encontra-se em Kusatsu, a 45 km de Parque dos Macacos Jigokudani e a 14 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. The facility is modern and comfortable, several onsen are available there and it's very easy to access the nearby onsen. The location is amazing, and the service is also stellar. Plus you get free deserts waiting for you in the fridge!

This Ryokan is phenomenal. - Breakfast and dinner, exceptional. Probably the greatest thing we like about the Ryokan. - The room, it was amazing, clean and tidy - We only used the private onsen (which is first come first serve basis, no booking required), temperature is just right with great view once you opened the window.
