While the price is somewhat higher, it is absolutely justified given the quality of service provided. I would gladly return here at any time.

I would recommend booking with breakfast and dinner! The food they prepared was delicious. To hotel is just a short walk away from the lake with the most beautiful view onto Mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of parking and the whole building was spotless. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back

This was the place I liked the most during my entire 2 months stay in Japan. This was the place I felt most welcomed and taken care of. This was the place I had the opportunity to witness the best omotenashi I had in Japan. I stayed for three nights during snowy winter at Shiroganeya and could easily stay longer. Maki and her mother paid attention to every detail. Very convenient area to use as a base for exploring the area, delicious food prepared by Maki's mother, lovely atmosphere, beautiful and traditional house full of family history. I highly recommend people staying here for exploring Togakushi area. I will definitely come back and staying again. I hope next time during autumn. Thank you very much Maki!
