Minshuku Asogen, a property with a garden, is situated in Aso, 29 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, 38 km from Kumamoto Castle, as well as 38 km from Suizenji Park. The property is located 39 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, 8.8 km from Mount Aso and 29 km from KK Wings. The ryokan features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We had breakfast and dinner and they were both excellent meals. Meals were served in private dining rooms. Loved the private onsen that had a separate powder room and shower/onsen bath. Also was very happy to have a toilet in the room and not shared. Very well organized place. Best stay during our trip. Very relaxing and private.

Location. Stunning view and atmosphere. Sympathy from the staff. Kudos for Shujan for his kindness and informative interaction. Amazing food experience.

Everything was perfection - starting from my arrival, public bathhouse experience, the cozy room, delicious dinner and breakfast and very kind staff members. The view of Mt. Aso from the third floor lookout and the footbath area is impeccable. Also, much special thanks to Mr. Isao Tsugayasu, who was extremely helpful and kind to us throughout the stay! He truly made our experience at Yumeshizuku unforgettable. Thank you so much again for your kindness and hospitality. I look forward to my next stay at Yumeshizuku in the nearest future.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Gorgeous traditional ryokan, with beautifully appointed rooms—we had one of the en-suite onsen baths, and I highly recommend it! The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the public area. Excellent hospitality from staff We couldn't find the ryokan and stuck in the no entry road and parking aside, my sis walk to the ryokan and the staff come to me and help to drive my car to the ryokan and thereafter help to park my car as the road there is really narrow. The staff are really attentive as we were "hands free" checking in and out as our luggage were very well taking care of. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent from the taste to the display of the food.
