Private onsen is perfect for a family with kids and elderly. We stayed here for 2 nights with great variety of food.

A standout feature was the private dining room assigned to each guest room, which added an extra touch of exclusivity and charm.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 33 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Mount Aso is 7.3 km away and KK Wings is 33 km from the ryokan. The food is excellent, we were there for two days, already the first day the dinner was very nice, but the second day it was superb. The lady owner is extremely nice and helpful. Both the private and the public baths are very nice and relaxing. The bedding was really comfortable, all in all an excellent stay!

Located in the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring area, it offers Japanese accommodations and free WiFi at the lobby. Free shuttle is available to/from Ogunimachi Yu Station and bus stop Kurokawa. Outstanding environment and staffing!!!

The ryokan serves Japanese seasonal dishes at its dining room, which features an open kitchen. Teahouse Warabe offers self-service coffee. A variety of Japanese shochu liquor, wines and other drinks can be enjoyed at bar Kura. What's not to like? From the moment we entered the parking we were treated like VIPs. We're not used to that! The room with its own onsen was really spacious and quiet. The property is beautifully landscaped. We didn't try the public indoor onsen, but the outside ones were lovely. Meals were beautiful and tasty and the servers were so kind. We also got an onsen pass and tried some other onsen in the town the following day - highly recommend but not needed with all the facilities here. It was a really nice treat to stay here.

A lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We had a fabulous stay. The meals were ALL exceptional! It's a beautiful setting and perfectly located for hiking around Mt Aso.
