Kumamoto: Pesquise ryokans

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Clean, lovely hospitality, awesome place. Amazing dinner and breakfast; the best I’ve ever had.

Shikinosato Hanamura localiza-se em Minamioguni, a 39 km de Monte Aso, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um terraço. Room was very spacious. There were 3 heaters in the room, so definately warm enough to anyone's liking if you needed. Room onsen was nice. Food was in a private dining room for dinner and breakfast. There was a very nice lounge to relax in as well. There is a public cave onsen that was quite special. In winter, roads may have snow and need to be wary if driving in.

Construído em 1722, o Okyakuya está situado no bairro histórico de Kurokawa Onsen. Excellent and friendly service from beginning to end. Room was very clean, the different baths were wonderful. It was the first time I’ve tried an onsen where I could stand up; it was 1.3m deep. There are private baths available too. Loved the welcome snack which was rice cookies using rice which the ryokan grows - I bought a bag home. The lack of hot water during winter didn’t bother me at all, in fact I prefer the warm water jug that was provided. The ryokan is near a bridge over the river for a good photo spot. It’s also near a restaurant with very good Akaushi beef. We had taken a bus to Kurokawa; the ryokan is fairly near the bus stop, though there is a long flight of steps down, which I managed to lug the luggage down. After check out, the staff offered to help with the luggage up the stairs to the bus stop.

Minshuku Asogen encontra-se em Aso, a 29 km de Estádio Egao Kenko e a 38 km de Castelo de Kumamoto. Best Japan experience so far. Everything was great, from the room, the food (dinner + breakfast), the private onsen rooms till the parking in from of the hotel. The welcome was very friendly and relaxed. Everything was explained very clearly.

Hanare no Yado Hanagokoro situa-se em Minamioguni, a 40 km de Monte Aso e a 49 km de Lago Kinrinko. O alojamento dispõe de acomodações com um restaurante e estacionamento privado gratuito. Extraordinary Ryokan in a very remote location. The food was very good and the people were incredibly friendly and helpful.

O Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan possui 5 banhos termais, incluindo uma banheira de estilo gruta com 30 metros de comprimento. A localização é excelente, mesmo no centro da vila de Kurokawa Onsen, os funcionários são muito atenciosos e simpáticos e o quarto muito confortável. Os onsens do hotel são fantásticos, os espaços comuns também, como a copa com café gratuito e a varanda para fumadores. O jantar é divino, tal como o pequeno almoço que é muito rico e variado. É perfeito para quem quer ter a experiência de ficar num ryokan e usufruir dos onsens do hotel, mas também dos restantes ryokans em Kurokawa. Ficamos duas noites e não nos arrependemos porque pudemos usufruir com calma do nosso hotel e dos restantes onsens, passeando pela vila de yukata e chinelos!

Located in Minami Aso in the Kumamoto Region, 10 km from Naka-dake, Hotel Yumeshizuku boasts a hot spring bath and sauna. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. The facility is very new (recently just renovated). Excellent onsen (indoor and outdoor). The staffs are well trained and very friendly. The Japanese food was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again.

Everything; the hospitality of the staff, kaiseki in private dining room, the room, and private onsen.

Com vários banhos termais interiores e exteriores, o Fumoto Ryokan apresenta acomodações tradicionais de estilo japonês com um charme histórico. Está rodeado por uma vegetação serena ao lado de um... Our stay at Fumoto Ryokan was absolutely incredible. The staff did a fantastic job throughout our stay and making sure every detail of the trip was just perfect. Our room had a wonderful view of the adjacent river and was so comfortable and spacious - a nice change of pace after traveling Japans big cities. Even as a very tall guy, they provided me with an appropriate Yukuta and I could enjoy the onsen experience in full. The baths themselves are amazing - both the shared outdoor one and the private bath rooms. There are plenty of the latter, so if you prefer your privacy you‘ll have plenty of options, some of them even with outdoor views. Then there is the food. The courses are absolutely delicious and so plentiful, that we found ourselves struggling to finish all of it sometimes. The quality of the dishes and the presentation is so high, the (not cheap) room price seems very reasonable in hindsight. To sum it up: this was a 10/10 experience and we can’t wait to come back someday.
