The location was convenient, the room was wonderful (and much larger than it appeared in the pictures), and the futon beds were comfortable. We also appreciated the helpful and accommodating staff, and enjoyed relaxing in the onsen. We would absolutely stay here again.

It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Had an excellent stay! Girls at the reception know English well, give plenty of information on the surrounding area, are very polite and accommodating. Room was spotless, and so are the other hotel facilities. Internal design is an interesting mix of a traditional style and modern conveniences

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. The special Japanese atmosphere is one of a kind, it is not a luxurious hotel, but everything is well organized and elegant, we were treated with polite staff and very comfortable service, we are happy and satisfied with the amazing living/ onsen experience in Seikoro Kyoto. Will consider this place again in the future.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.

Ryokan Sumiya Kihoan offers a hot spring bath and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kameoka, 13 km from Oyamazumi Shrine. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. The staff is lovely and accomodating. Both the private bath, public onsen and private onsen are refreshing and outdoors. The food is amazing and the portions were great. Very quiet location and rooms feel very private.

The ryokan serves a vegetarian and vegan breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. The hospitality was incredible. Beautiful room with an incredible breakfast. The hosts were absolutely lovely.
