The staff is very helpful and the room is equipped in all necessary things including green tea and local sweets to try. The Onsen was magical and the rules were clear for first timers. Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. Amazing hospitality in a wonderful establishment. The staff does everything they can to make the stay unique, memorable, luxurious and comfortable. The public bath is nice and relaxing. The dinner and breakfast is unlike anything I would typically experience as a westerner. Kyoto can be very intense sometimes, and this establishment provided us with an escape when needed.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. It was a very welcoming environment. The staff was amazing and food was delicious. Our room was perfect. Relaxing environment.

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. Wonderful place, and people should visit once in their lifetime.

The hotel itself and our room were fantastic, we were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, within walking distance to many places in the city center, and there is also a train station nearby. The hotel owners were incredibly kind, and they were very helpful upon our arrival and at our departure. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto.
