The wonderful staff were very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the use of the bath house across the street which they walked me over to and explained to me how to use. Breakfast was also great!

Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The staff were exceptional, so helpful and gave lots of tips for things to do. We especially liked the warm welcome every evening we arrived back to the ryokan . The interior feels really authentic Japanese and it was fantastic to experience a traditional Japanese room to sleep. The ryokan was so close to most of the major sites and metro/train stations. We cannot recommend this ryokan enough. A rating of 10 is not high enough!

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. It’s a very old Ryokan but it is well maintained. It has its own public bath so you get to experience it without an added cost and it is very convenient. Our room had its own bath too. The dinner was very good, every dish served was good. The Japanese lady who served us was very kind and attentive. I also liked the garden view from the room. The train station is nearby.

Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The private outdoor bath was amazing. Beautiful room design and decorations. Large and comfortable room with a complimentary minibar. Great hospitality from the staff. Highly recommend the breakfast option. 10/10 location 5 minutes walk from gojo and Kyoto station

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. Everything was top notch, from accommodation to the very friendly and helpful staff. Object has shuttle bus that will take you to JR Kameoka which is great way to get back to Kyoto. Much recommended

The property has inner courtyard views and is 16 km from Motoise Kono Shrine and 17 km from Daijyouji Temple. The ryokan features a hot tub, full-day security and free WiFi. Was very comfortable and quiet. Great location.
