Everything is amazing. Onsen open and accessible all night, Nice view from the room and the Kaiseki dinner was a great experience, on top of that very charming and kind hosts, Arigato Mika !

Assi sets the bar for guesthouse in my book. Not only is Assi comfortable, they made my experience in Yufuin more comfortable enjoyable. The place is convenient, well decorated, homey, got all the necessities prepared, comes with Onsen bath, and there’s a cute cat waiting for you to come back.

Ryokan Fukinoya is an exceptionally wonderful place to stay. The staff members were very gracious, the meals were amazing, and the accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. We loved our private onsen. We can't rave enough about Ryokan Fukinoya, definitely a highlight of our trip!

Great ryokan experience with delicious well-selected food. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We only regret that we happened to be in Beppu for only one night and it was the night of fire festival. Unfortunately, we missed the whole thing, because we had a dinner at the time of fire show. It’s just an another reason to visit Beppu again :)

Beautiful Ryokan in an old Japanese house overlooking a nice garden. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a new bathroom. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and staff was extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. Short walk from the train station. Definitely recommend this place for a stay in Yanagawa!

It’s beautiful. They have like 4 onsen and rooms with private onsen and you can also book a private onsen. Very nice for couples as the regular onsen are women or men only. We had the room wit private onsen and it was worth every penny. The room looked out on the waterfall and a nice Japanese garden. The surroundings are beautiful. You hear and see the waterfall, everything is like a Japanese fairytale. The employees are the kindest. And the food is probably the best Japanese food we had. The total experience was so luxurious and perfect. We loved it!

The breakfast was incredible. Simply made but full of local flavours. The host lady was very kind and welcoming. She made my bed while I was using the bath. Communication in english/Japanese was easy.

Best Japan experience so far. Everything was great, from the room, the food (dinner + breakfast), the private onsen rooms till the parking in from of the hotel. The welcome was very friendly and relaxed. Everything was explained very clearly.
