We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were super friendly and efficient during our whole visit. They even stored something in the fridge for us before we checked in, and gave us free ice tea to bring with us at check out. The annex we booked was spacious and beautiful. The private onsen was also really great, and both dinner and breakfast was tasty with a generous portion. We would definitely recommend stay here!

The room was huge and had a great traditional feel. The garden outside and the shogi screens really gave it a cosy feeling.

The owner is very friendly and helped us make reservations to various Onsens. We also could use the private in-house Onsen. It’s all very authentic and we loved our stay. The guesthouse is in the middle of Kannawa Onsen so you can do 5 of the 7 hells on foot. The last two you can easily reach by bus. Thank you for everything, Miho!

I recently stayed at this onsen resort in Yufuin and it was hands down the best onsen experience I've ever had! The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a microwave and all cooking essentials. The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!

Room was awesome, I had the Japanese style room with the garden view/patio, it was very spacious and comfortable, there's even a massage chair! The bathroom and onsen facilities were great, was clean and had everything you needed. Location was good, maybe 6mins to town, 15/20min to the village. It's a small town so easy to walk everywhere. Lawsons is next door and a bbq place around the corner which I didn't get a chance to try out. Kitchen is well stocked especially if you just want to eat something at the hotel (I couldn't find an izakaya that had space for walk ins - it was Sunday). Price is very reasonable!

Ryokan Fukinoya is an exceptionally wonderful place to stay. The staff members were very gracious, the meals were amazing, and the accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. We loved our private onsen. We can't rave enough about Ryokan Fukinoya, definitely a highlight of our trip!

Tọa lạc ở Asakura, cách Hiroshiki Oda Museum of Art 14 km, Akitsuki Kominka Yado You cung cấp chỗ nghỉ có khu vườn, chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí, phòng chờ chung và sân hiên. the owner is a quite person but very kind and considerate. she was one of very few accommodation-owners who speak english. 1. specially she took care of our electrical bicycles which need battery charging. she made an indoor space in a different house which is perfect. 2. also the kitchen which is well devised and like home kitchen was very nice to use. 3. the room we stayed has so nice mountain view, which was tranquil. 4. during our stay, it was heavy rain and we, bike traveller, probably made the space dusty. but she understood the situation and was generous to provide more towels to wipe water on body. 5. we vediotaped the house because her retro-renovation of the old farm house(actually looks old shop house in a farming village) was very intriguing and informative. (very japanese as well as very moderate and inexpensive)
