Boasting hot spring baths and a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean, Toba International Hotel Shiojitei offers luxurious accommodation in Toba. Staff was helpful, breakfast was good and the sea view is a plus.

I was expecting ordinary cheap accommodation, but I got a pleasant stay in an old Japanese house. Bathroom and toilet outside the room, but extremely clean and comfortable. You can have breakfast or dinner in the bistro next door. There are tea plantations around, a beautiful environment. In the category of "cheap accommodation", it is absolutely exceptional.

Amazing accommodations and amenities, beautiful view, a good onsen available basically all the time, and amazing food. I highly recommend booking the sea view room, and getting breakfast and dinner included. The quality of service blew us away. All the staff are extremely kind, and the dinners we had here were our favourites from our trip.

Localizado a 2 minutos a pé da Estação Ferroviária Iseshi, o Isegekġ Iseshinsen disponibiliza acesso Wi-Fi gratuito em toda a propriedade e banhos termais interiores/exteriores. Private roten buro-bath was exceptional. The room was huge. Self-service coffee bar was nice and food was more than we could eat.

Oishiya situa-se em Ise, a 10 km de Santuário de Ise e a 10 km de Oharai-machi. O alojamento dispõe de acomodações com um restaurante e estacionamento privado gratuito. We LOVED the personalised service provided in traditional inns - especially by our caretaker and waitron Yasuyo Ohnishi! There can be no better location on the seashore within reach of Ise Temple Complex, located on Futiminoura Beach. They will pick you up and drop you off at the closest station and a  100m walk to the beautiful "wedded rocks (at Futamiokitama Shinto Shrine) is worth it even on a hot day! It was pouring  rain when we arrived early so the driver dropped us off a beautifully restored old traditional mansion set in a tranquil zen garden to wait for reception to open at 3pm. We only realised later it's only 3 houses away from the hotel so easily accessible bonus for Oishiya's guests ! The meals (dinner and breakfast was included) was exceptional and extensive with more than 5 courses, each one beautifully arranged in trays and in stunning pottery, served by the lovely and ever helpful  Yashyu Ohnishi in her immaculate kimono Dinner was attended in the Inn's provided kimono's which really added to the experience of Japanese culture we were looking for in a traditional Inn or Ryokan like this. The private Onsen (hot spring bath) was a great bonus for two shy westerners as was the slightly raised western beds in our beautiful tatami mat room with a view to the ocean and shoji screens (rather than curtains) to manage the light! It was by far the most pleasant and perfect stay in more than 30 years of travel internationally!

お宿行灯鳥羽 encontra-se em Toba, a 14 km de Santuário de Ise e a 14 km de Oharai-machi. The view was epic, the room and included bathing products and loaned pajamas were luxurious, and the 24-hr free coffee machine and Popsicles in the beautiful lobby were a bonus. Ample free parking, free 9pm pork ramen, ice machine, 350 yen canned cocktails, and very kind, English-speaking staff. Exceptional value (we booked the day before so it was a great price). Hot sauna, cold plunge, indoor and outdoor onsens open 6am-11pm, closed for a few hours midday for cleaning. Our best stay in Japan so far!

Featuring a bar, Kochoran offers rooms in Toba, 1.6 km from Mikimoto Pearl Island. With free WiFi, this 3-star ryokan offers free shuttle service. To start off, if you arrive at Toba Train Station between 1430-1800, they provide free shuttle service to the hotel, which otherwise would be a 20 minute walk. Look for their name beside their car. The staff were friendly to a fault and even if they can't keep up with English, they'd do anything to help you. The place is old, that's what you get for looking for an onsen ryokan but it's well maintained and the cuisine offered was faultless.
