Matsushima Koumura ligger i Matsushima, 10 km fra Shiogama-templet og 24 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Such a friendly place to stay. The owners and staff were exceptionally nice. The room was beautiful and a great size. And the onsen was lovely. A close walk to many attractions and always lovely to come back to.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The hospitality of the staff, they are so nice and welcoming.

Komatsukan Kofu-tei ligger lige foran Matsushima-bugten og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis internet via kabel. It’s a ryokan style hotel, with onsen, which allow tattoos and a private onsen too, which is amazing! The views of the ocean are breathtaking, as well as the many small islands that fill the horizon. The staff are beyond amazing and the room was just fantastic! 10/10!

Sakunami Onsen Yuzukushi Salon Ichinobo ligger i Sendai, 27 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Suzukiya Ryokan har en god beliggenhed i Kamasaki Onsen-distriktet i Shiroishi. Det ligger 49 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center, 47 km fra Sendai Slot og 48 km fra Zuihoden. Everything was perfect! Dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We had a wonderful experience of Japanese entertainment such as onsen, wearing yukata and sleeping on futon.

Saryo Souen ligger i Sendai, 18 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og gratis privat parkering. Great and I mean GREAT service. The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

かっぱの宿旅館三治郎 ligger i Zao, 38 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. The staff is very nice and attentive. The dinner is delicious and sumptuous.

竹泉荘 Chikusenso Onsen ligger i Zao, 42 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center, og har et fitnesscenter, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. The room, the food, the view, the staffs, the wild cat in the private onsen, and everything else… The ENTHUSIASM, KNOWLEDGE AND WARMTH of the friendly people working in the hotel - Especially Mr. Li Fan - because of his thoughtful arrangements, I delightedly experience the resort’s services and got to see what I wanted to see in the Zao area - with EASE and PEACE like a breeze!!! 🤩🙏 Oh, I must emphasize that - Mr. Li speaks English and Mandarin FLUENTLY - that’s… definitely NOT easy to run into in Japan!!! And Ms. 橫山道子 - She is SUPER FRIENDLY!!! 🙏 I am very happy and grateful for my 一期一會 in 竹泉莊！

TAOYA Akiu har en god beliggenhed i Taihaku Ward-distriktet i Sendai. Det ligger 38 km fra Shiogama-templet, 18 km fra Sendai Slot og 18 km fra Sakuraoka Daijingu. Denne ryokan har 4 stjerner. Taoya Akiu is, in short, fantastic. Location is 2min walking from the bus stop from/to Sendai, but to get there and from there they offer a free shuttle bus (require reservation, ideally now than one day before). The few attractions in the area are all reachable by walking. The resort is huge but services are distributed well and moving around is efficient. Basically everything is included in the price and offered as part of the staying: there are free drink -including alcoholic beverages- and snacks, you can choose your yukata among the different colours avaliable. There are multiple relaxing areas which are all nice and cozy, and there is even a shop inside. The onsen (baths) are gorgeous as you see in the pics. There are 4, two indoor and two outdoor that are assigned in pair to males and females, switching every day (this is standard for Onsen places) so you can try both even if you only stay one night. Check in and out are quick and staff is polite as always in Japan. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style with quite a huge selection. The room is amazing, large for Japanese standards (and I mean really large) and beautiful with beds in a japense style section in the middle of the room. Super recommended.

Tabist Business Ryokan Duck Ishinomaki Hebita ligger i Ishinomaki, 37 km fra Shiogama-templet, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. We loved the decor, and the graciousness of the owners. We would return.
