I loved everything about this hotel from our beautiful bedroom facing the lake; the kimonos offered to us that they encouraged you to wear throughout the hotel; the buffet food that was offered for happy hour was plentiful and so delicious. We used their laundry facilities and the staff were kind enough to show us how to operate it; it was a little different than what we had ever used. They also helped us arrange the bus ride and train ride to Nagoya which we really appreciated. I would stay there again when visiting Japan, simply perfect.

It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. room is spacious enough. parking is also convenient. dinner is beautiful and we had lots of fun cooking some dishes ourselves. the menu is different every day and they really put an effort in that.

A personal attendant ensures the guests' comfort. The staff were friendly. The location was great. I managed to see Mount Fuji on the 7th floor!! What an amazing spot. The also offered private onsen on reservation for JPY 3,300 (50 mins max)

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. We stayed as a group of seven and everything was wonderful from start to finish. The kaiseki dinner course and breakfast were truly exceptional experiences — absolutely something everyone should try at least once. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the level of service was top-notch. I also noticed that assistance was available in several different languages, which was very impressive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel also has an onsen, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Great traditional Japanese style tatami room. It was clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were great, and the food was amazing. Private outdoor bath was an amazing experience. 10/10 will return one day

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. The location was amazing; I could see Fuji-san from the window while I sipped on my coffee. The staff were brilliant and friendly. The food was exceptional; fine dining. But the best was the private onsen; I nearly sat in it for half a day.

Set in Yamanakako in the Yamanashi region, Hanamizuki offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. This 2-star ryokan offers a garden. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. What an amazing stay we had, the room was spacious and had a direct view of Mount Fuji, the onsen was wonderful and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a mixup with the company we had hired to transport our luggage and the ladies there worked tirelessly to solve it even though it was not up to them. They also helped us get a dinner reservation when we could not find a place to eat.

The view is crazy they offered me all the time to take my pics. I waited for the bus outside and they wait w me until he arrived. I love this place sm!

Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. The view at the hotel is magnificent. Unfortunately, we didn't see Fuji fully on our stay. However, the staff is very nice and warm. Hot spring is very good. Bathroom is a little small, but manageable with a wide living room. We would love to come again.
