Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Rakuyu gave us a very good experience in our Kawaguchiko stay. Our room had the best view of the lake, the cocktails were heavy enough to replace dinner! And the shuttle from hotel to Kawaguchiko station made our stay easier to navigate. The private onsen was also a great experience (with a small additional cost).

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. The hotel is super! The staff is very friendly and kind. The room is clean and very cozy. When you get to this hotel, you are completely immersed in Japanese culture and get acquainted with very unusual and delicious food. My family is delighted, I recommend

The hotel is exceptional, we booked the traditional Japanese room, with tatami floor and breakfast and dinner. The onsen/hot baths were very pleasant (we only used the ones on the top floor), and even booked the private onsen at a fee, so we can enjoy privately as well. The dinner was amazing, and definitely a highlight of our trip.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and attentive - everyone from the shuttle bus driver and receptionists to the restaurant staff. Mount Fuji is visible from the rooms and also from the nice little onsen on the top floor. The shuttle bus service is very convenient to and from Kawaguchiko station. Both the dinner and breakfast were great and plentiful. The view gets a bit better as you go further along the lakeshore away from Kawaguchiko station, but we found Hotel Asafuji to be good value for money and the wonderful service made it a very pleasant stay.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Beautiful hotel, with private and quiet rooms that were spacious and well kept. Close to the red bus stop 4, Ohashi Bridge and restaurants/supermarket. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. They organised a taxi for us to get out to Chuerita Pagoda at the crack of dawn. The private onsen and breakfast were the highlights of our stay.

Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Google translator helped us to communicate. It's a hotel with traditional Japanese rooms with futons and shared bathrooms. I would recommend booking with breakfast and dinner! The food they prepared was delicious. To hotel is just a short walk away from the lake with the most beautiful view onto Mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of parking and the whole building was spotless. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back

The owner and staff were so lovely, the view of mount fuji was unreal!! the room was awesome, traditional Japanese room, baths etc were so good!

We stayed in a traditional japanese room with the view on the mountain and it was really perfect. The photos are not able to show how authentic and beautiful the room is, the Fuji-view at sunrise and sunset are magnificent! But most of all, the personnel of the ryokan is the best and most welcoming we have ever encountered, thank you for this wonderful experience! We were met from and brought back to the train station, shown a lot of kindness and personal attention. In the morning we got a traditional japanese breakfast, that was a new and tasty experience in itself. The ryokan provides everything you can possibly need, including the yukatas for their private Onsen. It opens early in the morning and closes late in the evening, so we were able to visit it twice. Can only recommend!
