The property is around 9.1 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium, 12 km from Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church and 12 km from Shijonawate City Museum of History and Folklore. The traditional experience was just what we were looking for. We were able to wear yukata and tabi after the amazing hot bath and we were given a beautifully prepared breakfast that had more food than we needed.

Soundproof rooms feature a serene interior with a tatami (woven-straw) floor, low furniture and shoji paper screens. Amenities include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge and toiletries. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding, and the rooms come with an all-wooden bathroom. Everything was just perfect when we stayed here! When we arrived at the hotel, we were offered hot towels and lemon and honey tea. A worker took our luggage and brought it to our room. Our room was super spacious and comfortable, and there was even free beer and water in the fridge. The small outdoor bathtub was perfect and easy to use. The upstairs Onsen was small, but we were the only ones there, so it wasn't a problem for us. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were perfectly made and delicious. It was fun to taste so many different dishes and flavors that we otherwise wouldn't have tasted. The whole experience of staying here was just perfect and definitely a highlight of our entire Japan trip. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience a real ryokan experience

Basic Japanese-style rooms overlook the temple compound, and feature a tatami (woven mat) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. They are fitted with air conditioning and a safe. We stayed one night and enjoyed it very much: delicious dinner and breakfast (Japanese style sets), traditional Japanese-style rooms, lovely onsen, and of course the ceremony in the morning. Would definitely recommend going here if a temple stay is on the bucket list. After dinner (and in the morning), one can wander around the temple area, which is very nice because no other people except the guests staying overnight are around.

A spacious public bath and foot bath is available for guests to relax in. Free luggage before and after check-in is available on site. Free WiFi is available at the entire building. The quadruple room with private onsen was amazing, the decor is very calming, and we really enjoyed the outdoor onsen experience. Everything was great. I found the bed comfortable however my partner not as much so I guess it can vary. The coffee in the room was good and the soft drink, beer and cookies were a nice touch.
