The owner is super nice and she even asked her husband to help me with my big luggages, thank you so much! I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area!

The nearest airport is Osaka Itami Airport, 39 km from the property. Location is great, right in Nara park. Staff was helpful and understanding of the language barrier. Let us drop our bags off early before check-in. Great food and service for both supper and breakfast. Nice big room for the two of us. They were nice enough to order our taxi for us the morning we left so we didn't have to worry about hiking back to the train (or bus) station.

The front desk staff were SUPERIOR, the room was beyond our expectations. Located in the heart of NARA, it was a short walk to all of the attractions and downtown shopping/restaurant area. I can't say enough about the superior level of customer care we experienced and wish I could remember her name to give her credit directly.

Basic Japanese-style rooms overlook the temple compound, and feature a tatami (woven mat) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. They are fitted with air conditioning and a safe. This exceeded my expectations in every way. What an incredible experience, with the food, the onsen, and cerimonies. The location is absolutely beautiful as well.

Everything was just great, the room, atmosphere. staff attitude and hospitality, Onsen and breakfast and finally the location.

The staffs are nice and helpful, the meals are excellent, the room is comfortable and stylish; the location, being located in an UNESCO primitive forest is wonderful. It is also close to famous tourist scenes

Featuring an open-air bath and views of quiet street, Ryokan Asukasou at the entrancne of Nara park is a recently renovated ryokan located in Nara, 1.8 km from Nara Station. It is set 20 km from Iwafune Shrine and provides a lift. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Peaceful and close to both the Park and train station.
