Amazing place - lovely and very comfortable, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. They speak decent English, but also have good systems set up with WhatsApp and Google Translate and nothing is too much trouble. The onsen are beautiful and the food in the restaurant is just delicious.

Yuzawa Grand Hotel is within a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Train Station and the Sake Museum. It offers 3 public baths, a massage service and free parking on site. Os funcionários são espetaculares e preocupados com seu bem estar , eu n sei falar inglês bem , eles sempre pacientes em tentar entender . A comida do restaurante é ótima, o quarto é maravilhoso , os Onsens são maravilhosos, foi minha primeira vez em um , tinham muitos cosméticos disponíveis para o bem estar durante e após os banhos . Tivemos um problema para ir para estação de trem e eles rapidamente nos ajudaram . Enfim, amei minha estadia !

Com 10 banhos termais exclusivamente projectados, o Shosenkaku Kagetsu apresenta acomodações de estilo japonês apenas a 5 minutos a pé da Estação Ferroviária JR Echigo Yuzawa. The facilities are great! It’s just a few minutes walk from the station, the staff is super attentive, the food is delicious and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Totally worth it!

Koshi no yado Takashimaya encontra-se em Niigata, a 35 km de Estação Ferroviária de Niigata e a 4,1 km de Yahiko Shrine. We have stayed at many onsens around Japan over the years but this place is the very best of any we have stayed! It is a historic building that has 200 + years of history. Even the Japanese emperor stayed here a long time ago. On arrival the building looks a bit old but you quickly learn that it is nothing to be concerned about. Staff members, both old and young are exceptional and carry on the traditions of Japanese hospitality. The food, both breakfast and dinner was exceptional. Great variety of traditional Japanese cuisines. Every meal different items (except rice of course :>) . The natural spring hot tub just outside the room was very spacious. Temperature is adjustable by yourself. Truly a great place to spend 3 nights or more. Neighborhood walking also pleasant.

Sasakura onsen Ryuunso situa-se em Itoigawa. Este ryokan também dispõe de acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. It was a lovely stay, place is well maintained although built in the 80s or 90s so furnishing represents that era. Onsen was lovely with different options and the water temperature was quite hot. Its an elaborate traditional japanese breakfast spread with lots of tasty dishes. I would recommend the place and you feel very relaxed after the onsen and they provide lots of little snacks and ice-cream which was a bonus with the kids. It is quite off the main road and the onsen itself is the destination.

Bunanoyado Koase encontra-se em Aga, a 37 km de Suntopia World (parque temático) e a 44 km de Templo Enzo-ji. Amazing Ryokan with best food I ever had in a hotel! Wonderful personnel, amazing hispitality. Great onsen facilities. Has a besutiful traditional feel and located in a pristine, untouched nature. Private open air onsen has great views over the valley. So far, best hotel I have ever been in Japan. I highly recommend here to anyone wishing to experience such a great Ryokan. Thank you everyone for making my stay so wonderful.

Sake Hotel Tamakiya encontra-se em Tokamachi, a 38 km de Estância de Esqui de Gala Yuzawa, e apresenta acomodações com um salão partilhado, estacionamento privado gratuito e um restaurante. breakfast was excellent, it didn't seem much at first but once you started, the flavor of the different vegetables accompanied by the selected rice was incredible. Also loved the sake pairing of our French dinner.

The serene surroundings, beautiful facilities, and amazing staff who took wonderful care of all our needs. They also catered exceptionally well with wonderful local ingredients for our half vegetarian half non-vegetarian family. AMAZING!
