The hotel lobby is beautiful and cheerful. The front desk staff changed the channel on the lobby wide screen television, so we could watch the American World Series! They also let us know the channel to access the game on our room televisions. The rooms were small but enough for us to relax in and with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed some of the daring combinations.

This ryokan is a peaceful oasis where everything is perfect: the quiet atmosphere, the warmth of the owners, the beauty and comfort of the room, the luxury of the private onsen, and the delicious breakfasts and dinner. Moreover, Beppu is a wonderful little place and I've fallen in love with it. My stay at Manrikiya was beyond my expectation. As I told the owners: it was a dream come true, 夢が叶いました! どうもありがとうございます

The private onsen rooms were amazing. Our room had 2 private (one indoor and one outdoor onsen) plus the main bath house. Staff is amazing and so friendly.

The ryokan will provide guests with air-conditioned units offering a desk, a kettle, a fridge, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a bidet. A balcony with garden views is offered in each unit. At the ryokan, units have bed linen and towels. My mom and I had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay. The property has mountain and city views, and is 47 km from Crasus Dome Oita. The ryokan features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Nice quiet corner beside a river with running water sounds, beside a rice Paddy field facing mountain views. Breakfast is great, Japanese style with many small dishes serving. Imagine after a morning spring bath your breakfast is ready to serve you that feeling is so great.

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Crasus Dome Oita and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. Featuring a shared lounge, the 2-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We had a big room with toilet on the second floor. Lots of space. It was quiet and clean. The owner is very friendly and helped us make reservations to various Onsens. We also could use the private in-house Onsen. It’s all very authentic and we loved our stay. The guesthouse is in the middle of Kannawa Onsen so you can do 5 of the 7 hells on foot. The last two you can easily reach by bus. A bar can be found on-site. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The dinner and breakfast both exceeded our expectations as did all staff we encountered. Appreciated the shuttle back to the station after we checked out.

Ideally set in the Yufuin Onsen district, this ryokan provides an open-air bath, as well as a public bath. The accommodation features luggage storage space and a housekeeping service for guests. Wonderful onsen ryokan in the outskirts of Yufuin, with incredibly friendly staff and a beautiful view of Mt Yufu. The food is soooo good! We stayed for two night and had two different dinner courses, both of which were lovely. The outdoor bath in the room Botan was a highlight as well — so lovely to relax in the bath with a view of the valley and mountains.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the ryokan free of charge. Guests can use the hot spring bath and the public bath, or enjoy mountain views. Absolutely amazing onsen. A definite top 5 for me. We got the room with a private one and it was simply so amazing to have that within seconds of your room. Also it felt like the water in the private in room onsens had much more minerals than the large one but the large one is well worth a stay too as it feels so free to be the only one there and gazing upon the mountains as you bathe.
