The hotel lobby is beautiful and cheerful. The front desk staff changed the channel on the lobby wide screen television, so we could watch the American World Series! They also let us know the channel to access the game on our room televisions. The rooms were small but enough for us to relax in and with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed some of the daring combinations.

This ryokan is a peaceful oasis where everything is perfect: the quiet atmosphere, the warmth of the owners, the beauty and comfort of the room, the luxury of the private onsen, and the delicious breakfasts and dinner. Moreover, Beppu is a wonderful little place and I've fallen in love with it. My stay at Manrikiya was beyond my expectation. As I told the owners: it was a dream come true, 夢が叶いました! どうもありがとうございます

Nice quiet corner beside a river with running water sounds, beside a rice Paddy field facing mountain views. Breakfast is great, Japanese style with many small dishes serving. Imagine after a morning spring bath your breakfast is ready to serve you that feeling is so great.

Wonderful onsen ryokan in the outskirts of Yufuin, with incredibly friendly staff and a beautiful view of Mt Yufu. The food is soooo good! We stayed for two night and had two different dinner courses, both of which were lovely. The outdoor bath in the room Botan was a highlight as well — so lovely to relax in the bath with a view of the valley and mountains.

Yufuin Onsen Tsukanoma se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Yufuin Onsen din Yufu, la 46 km de Oita Bank Dome, la 1,8 km de Lacul Kinrinko și la 28 km de Gara Beppu. Absolutely amazing onsen. A definite top 5 for me. We got the room with a private one and it was simply so amazing to have that within seconds of your room. Also it felt like the water in the private in room onsens had much more minerals than the large one but the large one is well worth a stay too as it feels so free to be the only one there and gazing upon the mountains as you bathe.
