Just such an amazing place! The staff was friendly and kind, the room was beautiful, sleeping on futons was really great, the breakfast was just so delicious, and onsen was so relaxing.

She introduced us to the homestay and nearby attractions, made sure the room was warm when we returned, and gave us a discount ticket for the onsen and grass steam bath, which was really affordable and relaxing. We had a lovely and memorable conversation about our languages, experiences, or just some nonsense🤪When she learned we were rushing to catch the closing hours at scenic spots, she kindly drove us there and showed us the best route.

Cat in the accoms is friendly and approachable but somewhat sassy. Owner is friendly and helpful with documents on whats around. Room is very cozy. Accoms has solo onsen bath but need to wait your turn as only can accomodate one guest at a time.

First time experience with Kaiseki menu and everything was exceptional down to the appetiser drinks. Loved that the menu showcased a lot of regional specialties to Kyushu, especially Oita prefecture. The location next to a stream was very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting and listening to the river. In room onset was great though the water from the hot spring is very very very hot (good thing they warn you in the introduction video) and loved the little touches such as females being able to pick their own Yukata pattern. Futons were very comfortable and plenty of tea and coffee available in room. A special thanks to our Ryokan host, Ryota, who tried his best to convey everything to us in English (and did so very well) and extended every hospitality possible to in an impeccable manner. We would 100% return.
