Located in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, Ryori Ryokan Tsurugata offers Japanese-style accommodations in a historical building from the Edo period. The facility was very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful and polite. The included dinner was very traditional and delicious. The ryokan is located perfectly within the historical quarter, so I very much recommend this place! We even got served tea after arrival and got our futons made for us during dinner time.

It is located on a hill side with a very beautiful view. The dinner they served was exceptional good with local meat and vegetables.

Our room had an adjoining garden, which was peaceful and lovely. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. The meals were traditional and delicious, with polite and kind staff. The bath was very enjoyable too.

They took our request for vegan food to heart and provided some of the most delicious food we've had in Japan. Our server, who was originally from Nepal, was excellent and very attentive.

Located in the northern area of Okayama, Yunogo Onsen HOTEL YUNOMORI BISYUNKAKU features 8 public indoor and outdoor baths, a game room, and a store. 2 hours to JR Okayama Station by car or train. The staff was very kind and helped make our stay comfortable. The food was simply incredible, and the hotel's interior and exterior were very authentic and beautiful. Bathroom on the balcony was incredibly relaxing, and it was extremely comfortable to spend time there. And, of course, the hot springs were beyond praise. It was a great place to recover. Free shuttle service from Okayama Station to the hotel and back was very comfortable and fast.

Gorgeous Kashikiri (private rental) onsen bath on the roof top of the hotel called "Sora No Yu" that will take your breath away with the night view of the lighten up yubara bridge and river. Kind staff. Delicious breakfast. Relaxing atmosphere. Cute rabbit motifs all over the hotel. There is a cute message board for guests at the entrance to leave messages on little wooden boards (perfect for artists). Beautiful hotel. Relaxation heaven. Perfect location! Highly recommend Hakkei in Yubara Onsen.
