Awesome place in traditional Japanese style, with very beautiful territory, bamboo trees and small pond. We got for free 2 bicycles to explore the places around.

At Fudoguchikan, guests can bathe in the open air, in a public hot-spring bath that boasts mountain and river views. Tranquil Japanese-style rooms offer river views, some from a private open-air bath.... traditional futon bed, mineral-rich hot spring water (silky taxture!). Great traditional dinner and breakfast.

Featuring a large Japanese garden and natural hot-spring baths, Nanten-En Ryokan offers traditional luxury in a beautiful natural setting. This is one of the best places I've stayed in Japan. Its situated in a quiet region, really close to the train station. Its a good option if you want to wind down a bit. The amenities, service and included meal were amazing. There are a few things to do in the surrounding area, but if you want a bit more, you can just take a train to Osaka (these come at an approx. 20 mins interval). I would definitely chose it again for the next trip.

The host was incredibly kind and hospitable, and the rooms were extremely spacious and cozy. The beds and the futons were quite comfortable, and the amenities were incredible.

The breakfast was delicious and the host was excellent! She was so attentive, welcoming and helpful. The house was BEAUTIFUL and the room was so clean and cosy.

The area/home was so scenic/picturesque and relaxing. It was sooo clean! Room was spacious with lovely decor. Lots of toiletries provided. The only regret I have is not getting there earlier and stay longer than one night! The private sauna/spa area was amazing! Couldn't have been happier and the most perfect way to unwind and relax. Right in the heart of the national park, which was a lovely walk in the morning.

Everything was well thought of . We like that they considered every detail of their guests needs. It’s a unique experience for guests. The private onsen experience was wonderful… again everything we need was there and even more than what we need. We love everything and it made us want to come back again in Osaka and we will stay longer next time.

Lovely staff made the whole trip amazing. Very nice view over the city and the private bath was top notch

High tech door with a good security system (1st impression when entering, hahaha) 2. Very friendly and helpful staff with fluent english speaking. Help us to carry the heavy suitcases to upstairs and during checkout. 3. Comfortable stay with a good bedding and hot shower. (Can consider one of my best stay among the 4 others) 4. Near to laundry shop.
