I proposed to my new fiancee here and I'm so glad I did because the staff and the hotel could not have been any better.

We loved the location and the architecture of the lodge. The traditional Japanese room was very high standard. The onsen was great. Staff were very helpful and knew good English. The food was excellent!

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The beautiful setting amongst the mountains. Friendly staff and amazing Onsen.

Featuring beautiful nature views from its rooftop hot spring bath, Hotel Kazurabashi offers Japanese-style rooms and a dining room where food is prepared in the hearth at the guest's table. The valley is beautiful and the hotel itself looks cozy and authentic. All the facilities were great and the views from rooms and onsens were incredible. All the stuff as well as the owner were very welcoming and courteous. And the owner beautifully sang us local song. Overall it was pleasant and relaxing experience, that we will remember for long. (Would 100% recommend booking a special dinner)

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. Really excellent stay in this out of the way and beautiful place! Our room had a private hot spring bath - perfect for relaxing after a hike up to the many shrines on the mountain. We came for when the Kabuki theater had a show and it didn’t disappoint. Staff was multi-lingual. Food was excellent, Japanese set menus in a charming dining room.
