The accommodation is simple, as expected from the traditional style, and all the amenities were completely sufficient. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. I highly recommend it and thank you for a fantastic stay!

We have never experienced this kind of luxury in our lives….. this place and environment totally blew our minds! We had te luxury to stay in the villa, and exceeded all our expectations. The views, the pool, the sauna, the hotspring tub, the fireplace, the BBQ… it was more than enough to really end our holiday totally relaxed! We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves…. For us it was a first experience and we truly could feel the relaxing atmosphere and hospitality. Traditional Japanese breakfast is very interesting to try, it’s more like a ceremony and restaurant’s stuff is extremely nice and professional. The location is also good, it’s a short walk to Shuzhenji walking area. The hotel has a nice landscape, every house has its own privacy.

Hakone Checkpoint is 22 km from the ryokan, while Hakone Shrine is 25 km away. The breakfast and dinner were great. We enjoyed some of traditional Japanese dishes. Also we enjoyed coffee at the balcony over looking the Pacific Ocean. The location was quiet and privacy was ensured, so we were able to maintain our Nonerelaxing time. Last but not least, guest room with private open-air bath was great.

Host was really nice and explained everything about area. On our last day he drove us to train station so we wouldn’t struggle with our bags. Hill with train station is very steep and it would take us a lot of time and energy to do it without his help :) Thank you.
