Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. A beautiful retreat from the big city. I loved the short 5 minute walk to the ocean or a gorgeous walk along the Itoo river. The walk to the hostel was really lovely. I'll never forget sitting in the viewing area in our room as it rained under the moonlight.

This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

I think this stay was the best experience in my traveller’s life! From the moment I booked -requesting allergies and other details to the moment we left the hotel. I cannot express enough how attentive the stuff are! They noticed during the dinner our kid was left handed, and breakfast was served on the left side. All I can say is Wow! and thank each and everyone who made this unforgettable memory for our family!

Isoaruki no Yuyado Ushiogumo -6 years or older- se află în Kawazu, la aproximativ 37 km de Templul Shuzenji și la 45 km de Muntele Daruma. I can’t say enough good thing about this facility. I will come back for more nights. The private onsen is so unreal, so good. Everyone took very good care of us. Kaiseki meal and service are top notch.

The design and atmosphere of the lobby made it a warm and comfortable place to relax, with the added bonus of free tea/coffee and drinks. The hotel is located about 2km from seafront and close enough to some amazing Mt Fuji views. Free bicycles available but to travel beyond Heta I would suggest a car from safety perspective.

素泊まり宿 瑞宝荘 se găsește în Atami, la mai puțin de 1 km de Atami Sun Beach, și are WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. the owner so was cute and kind! although there was a language barrier, we were able to communicate and she gave us tips of things to do and see in atami. she also gave us a wee bag of snacks on departure and walked us up the street to say goodbye. the property was very comfy and we had a lovely stay!
