Matsushima Koumura se află în Matsushima, la aproximativ 10 km de Templul Shiogama și la 24 km de Sendai City Community Support Center. We can highly recommend Matsushima Koumura. We stayed 4 nights and were very satisfied with everything. The owners were very nice and welcoming, the house is beautifully decorated and the little onsen perfect. The breakfast we had was very good and tea and coffee free. Everything was also very clean. The location is quiet, yet very close to all the sights in Matsushima.

Tabinoyado Saikawa se găsește în Kuroishi, la 33 km de Lake Towada, și are WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with public baths (gender separated). Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

Kameya Hotel se află în Tsuruoka, la 3,5 km de Acvariul Kamo, și pune la dispoziție o grădină și parcare privată gratuită. Amazing history and gardens. Rooms were enormous, with open views of the beach and with a cedar bathtub fed by hot springs in the room.

Ichiraku tendo spa & brewery se găsește în Tendo, la 30 km de Stațiunea de schi Zao Hotsprings, și are o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. The Breakfast is good enough as me and hubby both are vegetarian but the dinner are exceptional very well planned n delicious!! Defiantly will come back again!

Yuze Hotel se află în Kazuno, la 38 km de Stațiunea de schi Appi Kogen, și oferă vedere la munte. This place! I cannot describe how amazing the room with private onsen is. Super spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view to the mountains. Breakfast and dinner were delicious (buffet style), enough vegetarian options. There's a free drink bar available for the afternoon/evening hours as well. I didn't use the public bath because they don't allow visible tattoo's though.

Takasagoya Ryokan se află în localitatea Zao Onsen din regiunea Yamagata, la 2 minute de mers pe jos de Stațiunea de schi Zao Hotsprings. The room size, staff service and food was spectacular. It was as competitive as the service I experienced in Kamikochi.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Okawaso offers accommodation in Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen. Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a TV. property is very comfortable and staff can speak english

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Everything is pretty good!!! So comfortable.
