The staff is extremely helpful and nice (even that they almost speak no English). The room was big and well equipped. The Onsen is very nice. Dinner was superb with all kind of Japanese plates. The staff explained every thing what it was and how we were supposed to eat it, everything was served in a beautiful way.

I have been wanting to go to Ito for a very long time and when we started looking for places to stay I saw this gorgeous Ryokan. My family and I stayed there for 3 nights and we were blown away by how amazing it was! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and the room itself was gorgeous and cozy. However my favorite part would have to be the onsen water itself after adventuring around a lot of central Japan the past couple weeks a soak was what we needed and K's house did not disappoint.

Our special thanks goes to the very nice male staff who render his efficient services in table-setting for the many dishes of traditional Japanese cuisines, both for dinner and breakfast. He guided us the unique flavors of each type of food and the best way of eating with various sauces and condiments. He took the initiative to give us pamphlets about the sight-seeing spots nearby. We took his advice and did another hour of touring to learn more about Atami. It was a very hospitable and warming journey we had had with this hotel. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The owner was so nice and the onsen felt great! They made delicious food and the rooms were very nice.

I felt treated like an important guest with the hosts happy and proud to share Japanese hospitality.
