This hotel is run by the kindest couple, and I’m still thinking about how good dinner and breakfast were. Some of the best meals of my trip! You can also order lunch for the trail. The onsen was wonderful after a long day hiking. Room was on the 3rd floor and very quiet, it was compact and simple, very clean, with everything you might need, including yukatas for dinner and towels for the onsen. Shared toilets and sinks in the hall were never busy; there are two communal showers inside the onsen. I asked about laundry and they took mine and washed it for me within a few hours! The bus stop to Shingu or Hongu was a one-minute walk from the hotel. Yunomine Onsen was such a unique town, I feel lucky to have stayed here and enjoyed such great hospitality!

It was such an amazing experience. Thank you to the monk staff who were so kind and patient and guided us through meditation custom and practices. Our room included shojin ryori (buddhist vegetarian cuisine) breakfast and dinner which was very balanced and filling. I feel a sense of gratitude and peace coming back to Tokyo. I would like to go every year if I can.

يتمتع مكان إقامة "Minshuku Sumiya" بموقع جيد في حي Kawayu Onsen في تانابا حيث يبعد مسافة 12 كم عن Hosshinmon Oji Shrine، و20 كم عن Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art، و23 كم عن Kumanoshi Kiwakozan... The Japanese breakfast was really amazing. This Sumiya has not been renovated since the 70s, however, it doesn't matter because ithe decor added lots of charm and it is certainly a quirky place. I will definitely stay again and recommend others do too as long as you aren't super fussy because it is older style, but for the price that is what you would expect. It is clean and the owners are happy and warm and friendly.
