I loved everything about the guest house - the family was super nice and attentive, the rooms very cozy, the food delicious and the onsen great after a full day of hiking.

Wonderful stay in nature! The place is amazing – just two steps from the river, where you can even enjoy a natural onsen right in the water! The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The people here are incredibly friendly, kind, and always smiling, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The food was also delicious, with great care put into every dish. It's a perfect base to explore the beautiful area of I-Komono and discover the stunning nature all around. Highly recommended!

Located in Koyasan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 高野山 宿坊 常喜院 -Koyasan Shukubo Jokiin- offers free private parking. All rooms include a flat-screen TV. Location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Possibility to attend morning ceremony - wonderful. Very very good food. Very clean onsen. Beautiful garden.

高野山 宿坊 総持院 -Koyasan Shukubo Sojiin-, located in the center of Mt. Koya, is a Japanese-style accommodation in a Buddhist temple located to the west of Sohonzan Kongobu-ji and in front of Danjo Garan. What an amazing experience! Friendly and welcoming staff, well maintained and spotless clean traditional japanese room. Using the onsen is very relaxing in the evening after the vegetarian dinner full of unknown tastes and consistencies. Taking part of the morning meditation is highly recommended. It was a great place to stay and have a local experience in Japan. Koyasan is not too crowded which makes it wonderfull.

Hotel Kirinosato Takahara features outdoor and indoor hot spring baths, only a 2-minute walk from the World Heritage Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes. Everything was perfect - the owners, the room, the food, the view, the Oncen. Se highly recommend it
