Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. The whole onsen experience was amazing. From the reception to being introduced to the room. We had yukata's (traditional home garments). Our private onsen was great. The room was beautiful, The futon bed super comfy. The food was OMG.... literally Michelin star (and I've bee at Michelin star restaurants). Staff was extremely helpful and assisted us booking travel to any place around. The location was great to just take a stroll and discover the Kawaguchi lake.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Both the quality and the presentation of the food was michelin status. Freshest sashimi I've ever tasted. Location is quite secluded the way they have set up thsvplace provides a paradise of zen and peace.. A lot of nature surroundings. About a 20 min walk to oshino hakkai (8 spring ponds) The view of Mount fuji is beautiful!!! You can see it from the street where this ryokan is located and I believe one of the deluxe rooms offers this view. The service was amazing!!! Took the meaming of excellent customer service to a whole new level. Staff all very accommodating and friendly even though we mostly communicated via translation app. Very helpful with trying to figure how to get to airport.

Set in Yamanakako in the Yamanashi region, Hanamizuki offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. This 2-star ryokan offers a garden. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. I had an amazing stay at this ryokan! Just like others have mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious, and I was really surprised by the generous portions of authentic local dishes—such a wonderful experience! The entire ryokan was spotlessly clean and very quiet, making it a truly relaxing place to stay. When I visited, there weren’t many guests, which made it feel even more peaceful. One of the most memorable experiences was the kindness of the staff. It was snowing heavily that day, and I missed my bus, which meant I had to wait another two hours. Out of nowhere, the ryokan staff messaged me to check on us, and when they heard about our situation, they offered to pick us up! When we finally arrived, being welcomed with a warm, delicious meal was the best feeling ever. The ryokan is actually very close to Hirano Beach, but unfortunately, due to the heavy snow, we didn’t get to visit. That just gives me another reason to come back! If I ever visit Yamanakako again, I will definitely stay here. The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made us feel so at home. One of the elderly ladies even noticed that I was unsure how to eat a dish and helped feed me—it was such a heartwarming and adorable moment. ❤️

Shoji Lake Hotel provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 18 km of Fuji-Q Highland. With an open-air bath, the 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. My mum and I stayed for two nights in this hotel and it was a wonderful stay. As we got off the bus the wonderful owner came and greeted us and welcomed us with tea and check in instructions. We were fortunate enough to have clear sky and the reflection on the lake of Fuji San is incredible. The room had the most amazing view of Fuji San, space, comfort and amenities. The lake location has two small cafe/restaurants that we visited. We also had one dinner in the common area, as the restaurants close early, again with an amazing view. They also sell drinks and snacks/ramen in reception too. The onsens are open until late and are very wonderful. A gorgeous panoramic 1 hour hike can be found 5 minutes walk from the hotel. All in all the stay was very lovely, the most memorable take away has to be the kind staff who were lovely to chat too, attentive and kind. The owner, a wonderful man who made us feel most welcome in his hotel. Would love to visit again.

At the ryokan, each unit has a tatami. Some accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The location is amazing. Close to main shrine as well as small town. Room was clean, food was absolutely amazing and filling. There is a possibility to reserve a private bath (for free) that reinvigorates you. The stay and the atmosphere is really unique with authentic temple lodging. Would 100% come back

Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. Amazing experience! The host was extremely kind. He picked up from bus stop and dropped off too. The hospitality is everything! 100% you should experience it. We rent classic Japanese style room with a view and it was worth it! When we were dinning in shared space the host offered us water, tea and chopsticks - very kind of him! Onsen - stunning! The hotel provides you with towels and Yukata for both men and women. Every corner of this place was clean. They take care of their property a lot!
