Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. The facility was very clean, the staff was kind, and the food was amazing. The staff especially went above and beyond helping me find the parking lot as well as carrying my bags! They also explained everything about our room very well. The location is perfect as it is a short drive to Oishi Park and FujiQ. It was especially nice that the facility had free parking. Overall, I can't wait to stay again!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We loved this place! Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Google translator helped us to communicate. It's a hotel with traditional Japanese rooms with futons and shared bathrooms. I would recommend booking with breakfast and dinner! The food they prepared was delicious. To hotel is just a short walk away from the lake with the most beautiful view onto Mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of parking and the whole building was spotless. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back

With an open-air bath, the 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. There were so many great aspects about the property including the spacious and modern lobby, bathhouses, and views of Mt. Fuji, but by far the most exceptional and memorable part of the stay was the STAFF! Every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful — they made a significant effort to speak English and make the international travelers comfortable.

At the ryokan, each unit has a tatami. Some accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. The units are equipped with heating facilities. We fell in love with Kakurinbo from the second we walked up the beautiful temple entrance and met all the kind staff. We stayed in the garden view room for the first night, and sitting on the balcony drinking green tea was like something out of a fairytale. The dinner served in small little colourful plates was some of the best food we have had in Japan. Our stay was so incredible: experiencing the Buddhist monk morning prayers at the temple on the hill, bathing in the baths, doing morning yoga, hiking and chatting to the staff, that we actually ended up extending for two more nights. We couldn't recommend this place more strongly. It was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Japan.
