I loved everything about this hotel from our beautiful bedroom facing the lake; the kimonos offered to us that they encouraged you to wear throughout the hotel; the buffet food that was offered for happy hour was plentiful and so delicious. We used their laundry facilities and the staff were kind enough to show us how to operate it; it was a little different than what we had ever used. They also helped us arrange the bus ride and train ride to Nagoya which we really appreciated. I would stay there again when visiting Japan, simply perfect.

Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. Absolutely amazing stay with views to the lake and the mt Fuji. The staff was welcoming and extremely nice. They accomodated any needs we had and I am sure they are capable of more. We were able to borrow bikes and enjoyed the ride around the lake. The room is bright and beautiful. The onsen has fantastic views for the perfect sunset.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Everything, from the front desk, staff, facilities in general, the upgrade room to president room and so on, also I would like to highlight here the special attention from Veronica, who took care the services in our breakfast and dinner, she was amazing!! Very polite and courteous with us.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. The word “extraordinary” is more than fitting for this hotel. From the very first moment, you feel genuinely welcomed and completely at ease. The friendly and exceptionally helpful staff deserve special mention, as do the outstanding breakfasts and dinners served during your stay. With many local ingredients and traditional Japanese culinary artistry at a fine dining level, absolutely no wishes are left unfulfilled. The rooms themselves are spacious, impeccably clean, and furnished with great attention to detail. After a wonderful day exploring the area, you can relax either on the terrace with its Zen garden or in your own private onsen bath. While the price is somewhat higher, it is absolutely justified given the quality of service provided. I would gladly return here at any time.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We loved this place! Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Google translator helped us to communicate. It's a hotel with traditional Japanese rooms with futons and shared bathrooms. I would recommend booking with breakfast and dinner! The food they prepared was delicious. To hotel is just a short walk away from the lake with the most beautiful view onto Mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of parking and the whole building was spotless. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back

With an open-air bath, the 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The hotel was located across from the beautiful & serene lake Shoji and surrounded by magical forests of cedar and beech trees, with incredible views of Mt Fuji. The property was delightful and its simple Ryokan rooms were perfect for our needs. The onsens were a wonderful addition. The staff were wonderfully helpful and welcoming and we would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

At the ryokan, each unit has a tatami. Some accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Everything was very well organized. Everything looked beautiful and the food was amazing. It was a day of pure relaxation.

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. Run by a lovely helpful couple. We had a room with a Japanese sitting room. Great to have extra space. The onsen was very clean and enjoyable. Fantastic view of Mt Fuji

Set in Fujikawaguchiko and only 2 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Taiheikan offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This 3-star ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and public bath. The accommodation features free shuttle service and luggage storage space for guests. Staff were lovely, kind, generous and very helpful, especially as they offered pickup/drop off to train station. The onsen was perfect, though we were the only people using it at the time! Amenities were more than sufficient. And of course, the view was insane! Beats the Kawaguchiko Lawson photos for sure. It was lovely experiencing a more traditional stay.
