Hotel views are spectacular. The free breakfast and evening buffet is amazing. The free shuttle to the station is huge bonus. The property is kept super clean and the staff is wonderful and very hospitable. The rooms are so spacious and the views from the room is unbeatable. I loved it!!!!

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. I went with my family (2 adults + 2 toddlers aged 3 and 2) and we were awed by the great view (windows) overseeing the lake. Room size was awesome to fit 2 huge luggage and there is free parking opposite. There are yukata for kids and a smaller potty adapter. The staff who served us dinner was awesome and my kids love her. Just note that the bath water in the bathroom is not from hot spring but hot spring water is available at public bath. Room amenities are great (Air purifier, soap, lotions etc. provided) and not too old (Considered well maintained). Hotel facilities are nice. Location is good because there is a convenient store nearby and walkable to ropeway attraction. Would very much want to go back again.

The staff are brilliant and very attentive; we felt very well taken care of during our entire stay. The language barrier is no issue as we were able to communicate easily using Google translate when needed. The entire apartment is sparkling clean and beautifully presented with great amenities. The view of Mt. Fuji is breathtaking and the private onsen was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. We visited Oshino Hakkai (the "Eight Seas of Oshino") in the local area which is well worth a visit. It is only about a 20 minute walk from the ryokan. We had dinner and breakfast included in our stay which was a huge highlight for us! The food was delicious and wonderfully presented. Everything about our stay was impressive, and we can't wait to come back.

The staff was super friendly and took care of us from start to finish. They were super accommodating and helped us with our car and bags. The hotel was in a great location; but is maybe better accessed by car if you want to go places. There’s a conbini accessible by foot if needed. Mt Fuji was beautiful from our room and the balcony is shared access for a great view too - we took a lot of pictures! Everything was super clean and they even had a table tennis room! The public onsen hours were long into the night for a convenient night use as well.

The staff offered exceptional service. First we were not required to pay to check in early. This was very much appreciated. Also a ride back to the train station was offered even when it was not at the scheduled time. Lastly, precise instructions and advice were given to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay.

She even prepared some phrases As Gaeilge to welcome me! The rooms are typical ryoken style with tatami flooring, shoji doors and a comfortable futon for sleeping. Each room has a view of Mt Fuji if you are lucky to see her like I was. There is an onsen for bathing and they provide a yukata robe to wear. The location is nearby to the hop-on/hop-off bus and right beside lake Kawaguchiko which was the perfect place for photographing Mt Fuji unobstructed. The breakfast spread was amazing traditional Japanese style and they gave me a lift back to the station after check-out. I loved every element of my stay!
