It is very close to Kawaguchiko station. You can literally walk. The service is awesome. The check in and check out was smooth. The room was great. The service was great. The onsen, bath, and Mt Fuji view were astonishing. We loved every minute of our stay. It is so close to the lake. There is a free shuttle to the station and service is great. The breakfast had a plenty of choices of traditional and non traditional food. The dinner ceremony and variety were amazing. We loved our experience. We get a feel of Japanese culture in this hotel.

Beautiful Ryokan with traditional rooms and dining, everything was perfect, the view from the room, the food, the service. I used the onsen at night and it has a beautiful view. Everybody was very kind to us.

The staff are brilliant and very attentive; we felt very well taken care of during our entire stay. The language barrier is no issue as we were able to communicate easily using Google translate when needed. The entire apartment is sparkling clean and beautifully presented with great amenities. The view of Mt. Fuji is breathtaking and the private onsen was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. We visited Oshino Hakkai (the "Eight Seas of Oshino") in the local area which is well worth a visit. It is only about a 20 minute walk from the ryokan. We had dinner and breakfast included in our stay which was a huge highlight for us! The food was delicious and wonderfully presented. Everything about our stay was impressive, and we can't wait to come back.

I had an amazing stay at this ryokan! Just like others have mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious, and I was really surprised by the generous portions of authentic local dishes—such a wonderful experience! The entire ryokan was spotlessly clean and very quiet, making it a truly relaxing place to stay. When I visited, there weren’t many guests, which made it feel even more peaceful. One of the most memorable experiences was the kindness of the staff. It was snowing heavily that day, and I missed my bus, which meant I had to wait another two hours. Out of nowhere, the ryokan staff messaged me to check on us, and when they heard about our situation, they offered to pick us up! When we finally arrived, being welcomed with a warm, delicious meal was the best feeling ever. The ryokan is actually very close to Hirano Beach, but unfortunately, due to the heavy snow, we didn’t get to visit. That just gives me another reason to come back! If I ever visit Yamanakako again, I will definitely stay here. The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made us feel so at home. One of the elderly ladies even noticed that I was unsure how to eat a dish and helped feed me—it was such a heartwarming and adorable moment. ❤️

Perfecte locatie om snel wat Japanse/tempel ervaringen op te doen, zoals meditatie, kalligrafie of kimono. [VN] Trải nghiệm nghỉ ở chùa khá thú vị. Nơi ở sạch sẽ, rộng rãi, chủ và nhân viên lữ quán thân thiện. Sáng có trải nghiệm ở chùa và có thể mặc thử đồ cưới Nhật với chi phí rất nhỏ. Ngoài ra còn có nhiều hoạt động khác như thiền, làm con dấu cá nhân hay khắc nét kinh...

The owner/manager is very very friendly. He picked us up at the station and brought us back the last day. He also insisted to carry our luggage. We took the Japanese Style Room with Mt. Fuji view, and we had a greta time experiencing the traditional Japanese way of living. The facilities have their own Onsen which was a highlight, especially because of the cold weather. The location is good and a Bus Station is few meters away.

The staff were so adorable, specially the recepcionist! What a lovely young lady! Onsen quite nice and well organized. Highly recommended!
