I don’t know where to begin! I loved everything about this place! From the hosts to the place itself, full of charm, a beautiful mix of Polish and Australian culture. The views are out of this world with beautiful lorikeets and other birds coming to your balcony. Ania, Phil and their family were so welcoming that it just felt like home. The facilities are great, everything that you need is there. Can’t wait to go back soon.

The host Shane made us feel very welcome and was a lovely guy. He took a special interest in making sure we were looked after and had everything we needed, he is truly passionate about his job and made our stay extra special! Thank you Shane 😆! The retreat is beautiful and was everything we wanted and more. it was private, spotlessly clean and the spa bath was very romantic lit with candles. The complimentary bubbly on arrival and the complimentary breakfast was so delicious and just topped such a special weekend for myself and my partner on our one year anniversary. I definitely recommend the Escarpment retreat to all couples, it will stay in our memories forever and we will definitely be back! Looking forward to seeing you again Shane 😌

    Great location near eateries. Highly recommend the excellent Trattoria Mklll for dinner and Providore Cafe for breakfast. We booked for the wood fire as it was very cold. Cosy with very comfortable bed. Nice big TV. Nice kitchen. Towel warmer. Undercover parking. A kind and attentive host.

    Very peaceful, one separate bedroom, open plan lounge, dining, kitchen. Dan was an excellent host, attentive and professional. Unit was comfortable, charming and well equipped. Scenery was amazing. Breakfast was provided and cupboards were stocked with extras like oil, salt and pepper. Milk was fresh in a jug, plenty of fresh bread.

    A very comfortable cottage with a fire and heating to keep us warm. A very well set up kitchen and all furniture was comfortable. Very close to cafes and restaurants and only short a drive to magical walks on the mountain.

    The view from the property is phenomenal. When you sit at the lounge or the kitchen, you could see the overall Gold Coast beach line with no barrier. It's like the ocean is right in front of you. Sitting on the couch, having a coffee, read a book, kids playing in the lounge. Absolutely a fantastic experience.
