Beautiful house, great facilities, excellent location, incredibly kind and welcoming host. María went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay, and the property itself is gorgeous. It is spacious and I slept very well each night, plus there is air conditioning and facilities for cooking food, and washing clothes. Casa Sol is also between Puerto Viejo and La Virgen, within close walking distance of the bus stops - making it very well located if you wish to travel to these towns. Would absolutely recommend and I wish I could have stayed longer!

Beautiful property. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the outdoor cooking area and we truly felt surrounded by the jungle. Lots of lovely touches within the property- water in a cooler/ fridge/ outdoor cooking area/ helpful booklet on surrounding area and lovely decor. The water stopped working which was not an issue as our hosts resolved the problem immediately we notified them.

It was perfect till every last detail. I loved the porch and the hammock and rocking chair. I sat outside every moment of the day for hours watching the nature. The softness of the douvet, the fully equipt kitchen even with food containers.

This place is authentic, the family is so beautiful and nice. We love the honest and the calme ambiance! Nothing is too much, everything is simple but juste pure. The night tour was beautiful, so we'll explained, and very interesting. The welcoming totally perfect even if we booked last minute. And the breakfast... Just incredible. Not only because of the food, it was very good and gluten free for me, which can be complicate sometimes, but mostly because of the mother. The is a beautiful soul, full of love and kindness. This is a big house in the forest, very clean. We saw soo many birds here (macaw, toucan...) There is a beautiful waterfall near this place (25min walk:. And Wendy was very helpful.
