The house was perfect for our stay. We traveled to Mittenwald for biking and chose this as our base. It was cozy, with convenient storage for our bikes in the garage, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. The views of the mountains were stunning, and it was just a short walk to all of Mittenwald's restaurants.

Fabulous apartment in Mittenwald. Huge size and very comfortable. Magnificent views from the balconies. Possibly the best apartment we've ever booked. We loved it so much. Can't wait to return to Mittenwald and Ferinhaus Werdenfels.

We stayed 3 nights and the very helpful and friendly host provided a free bus and cable car pass. We used the bus pass to travel to Garmish and Zugspitze. We used the Kranzburg chair lift and walk back to Mittenwald through the forest and Lautersee lake and waterfall. It was glorious and a wonderful way to spend a sunny afternoon. We stopped for a beer by the lake side. We ate a delicious Oxe Rump Steak and Burger meals at Grillstube in the village which was also very reasonably priced. The apartment is about 13 mins easy walk from railway station and old town and facilities. It is about 10 mins walk to the Leutascher Geisterklamm George which is well worth a visit. Brochures were available at No 38.

    It was a perfect stay. There was everything available in the home, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals, the bathroom was nice and clean, the balcony had a very beautiful view and the beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect(close to the main station) making it easy for us to travel to other places. The host was very polite and understanding, she was completely flexible with the check in and check out times which helped us a lot.

    We had the Superior Apartment which was beautiful. There were lots of extra thoughtful additions, including:- The kitchen was well stocked and had a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso machine; the couch had a throw and lots of scatter cushions; the balcony has cushions for the chairs and also an electric sunshade. As we had great weather this was very welcome on a scorching afternoon/evening. The host is extremely hospitable and friendly. We will return! Vielen danke Haus Daheim!

    We loved our stay here - the view was amazing and we did many beautiful walks straight from the property. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was warm and cosy even without the heating on. The kitchen was very well equipped for self catering. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
