Only found this town by chance and so glad we did. Very interesting old part of town with their cave houses. We loved our stay in María’s Cueva (cave) and it was great. Complete with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom in a neat little cave house. Maria is the perfect host so lovely, friendly and inviting and made our stay unforgettable. Thank you Maria we will be back and let all our friends know of our great find.

    A really friendly welcome from the owners who also have a little souvenir shop. Massive cave all to myself. Had three bedrooms, kitchen with hob, microwave and fridge freezer and a washing machine in the bathroom. Plenty of hot water, comfortable bed. BBQ outside.

    Wonderful place! Spacious, spotlessly clean, well equiped kitchen, patio. Would definitely recommend this place. About a 5 min walk to supermarket and start of town. Only takes about 20 mins to walk to the cave houses.

    The Cuevas offer very comfortable, spacious and interestingly decorated caves with parking outside the cave. Very suitable for self-catering visits of more than 1 night, but the onside restaurant means it is also suitable for stopovers. The caves are grouped on several levels. The highest levels have the best views (including uninterrupted views of the Sierra Nevada) but get more traffic noise from the adjacent motorway.

    Good communication with very friendly enthusiastic owners Adriana and Antonio. Complementary bottle of wine . V cool, unusual place to stay, warm and comfy beds. Self catering was a must as we arrived late. Dog friendly. Beautiful views and walks to the troglodite area right from the door. Calm place to sleep. Our son was delighted with his 'cave'room!
