Great location near the lake with beautiful views. Good choice if you want some privacy to enjoy the nature. Holiday home is very well equipped, there is everything you could possibly need. Sauna and fireplace is nice bonus. We had magical time.

I had a really pleasant stay at Academy Hotel Kemijärvi. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The house is fully consistent with the description on the website. On the day of arrival there were severe frosts somewhere around 30, but the house was warm, so to speak, we were greeted warmly.))) And also beautiful nature, the house is located on the shore of a large lake. I plan to come there in the summer to see the beauty of this place.

This is a perfect place for bigger families. Lots of room and toys for kids to play with. Nice living room/kitchen area with a big fireplace. The upstairs offers some privacy for others if needed and balcony was a super nice and cosy place to relax. The always ready sauna is also big enough for the whole family and it's safe to use! The location is very good if you want to explore the eastern Lapland area. To move around the region you need a car although there is some public transportation. The hosts Pekka and Pauliina were there to show how everything works and they were super friendly. Would definitely recommend this place if you have a bigger family or group and you want to explore this part of Lapland!
