We loved everything about our stay in the penthouse. The views from every room were amazing. My Dad who's 90 adored the bedroom and having 2 bathrooms really helped. The kitchen was well equipped and lovely touches such as fresh milk, biscuits and tea and coffee were so welcomed. It was great having a roof terrace. First night celebrations with fizz overlooking the sea. What more could we have asked for. It was a very special weekend for my family made all the more special with the kindness of our hosts. Will be back! Thank you so much

This holiday was amazing. Beung a winter trip, we spent a lot more time at the accommodation than we would normally, and it was so cozy. The flat is very large and furnished beautifully. Fantastic kitchen with everything you could possibly need. High-powered shower over a large bath. Big comfy bed. Double glazing with thick curtains and central heating so very warm. 2 large sofas and tv, there was s alot of dvds, but we just logged into our netflix. 2 comfy chairs placed with views of the sea and North Hill with binoculars provided . Very quiet. Easy walk to Minehead and Dunster. Very close to pubs, takeaways, and supermarkets. Dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, hand soap, a few toiletries, towels cleaning supplies, tea, coffee, milk, wine, and biscuits all provided. Nice powerful hairdryer. Very friendly owners. Very clean

The house was amazing. Well kept. Spacious. Spotlessly clean. Walk away from the High St, beach and Supermarkets. Everything you 'might need' while away like, stairgate, fire guard and utility room big enough for everyone's coats and wellies to dry on the airer next to the washing machine and tumble drier. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, lots of storage, sweet welcome goodies, well heated log burner, central heating, water pressure good. Parking on the road, if you have more than one car. Two living rooms. One for the kids and one for the adults. Plenty of room for all 8 of us.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We didn't see or speak to the owner or any staff but things were pretty straight forward so no issues. It was in the perfect location and had some lovely welcoming touches.

Loved it - perfect for solo female hikers. Great location, good accessibility from a path, very pretty and warm room (rooms in England tend to be cold but this one wasn't and I was so happy), comfy bed and amazing fluffy towels. I liked the self catering kitchen - you can get some frozen meal options downstairs so you don't have to bring your dinner like I did. There are also drinks. And you can get a packed breakfast. Everything is easy to understand. Oh and magnificent views from the garden!

Parking - I found free spaces on the street but not saying everyone will when they visit, I was lucky due to the time of year visiting. Living and dining rooms - enough space for 4 people, cute and comfortable, light/bright. Log burner is an added bonus. You will need to bring/buy fire lighters, kindling and logs. Smart tv, doesn’t have access to terrestrial channels but you can log into your Netflix, Prime, etc accounts or watch catch up for terrestrial channels. Kitchen - spacious and has utensils, crockery, cutlery, you just need to bring items to cook with like oil and your food. Washing up liquid, cleaning cloth, sponge and a tea towel were provided. Has a coffee machine that takes pods, so bring your pods with you. Both bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage space and comfortable, firm beds. Bathroom - has plenty of hot water and space to store your items. Comes with towels, so one less item to pack before leaving home. Location is very good as it’s 15mins from Minehead and 25 from Lynton/Lynmouth. There are plenty of walks locally or slightly further afield. You do need to factor that this is Somerset/Devon, so it can be steep in some areas. As you can clearly see, the property is on a slight gradient but it’s not too harsh. All in all, the property is comfortable, clean, tidy, very well (and recently) decorated throughout and a perfect location. I will book again and look forward to it. To be honest, I didn’t want to leave!

Private parking less than 100 metres away (a rarity in Porlock), sparkling clean accommodation with a fully equipped kitchenette, excellent shower, and a sweet little courtyard garden. Sally the owner was charming too. Lowerbourne House Studio ticked all the boxes!

Perfect location for walking the coastal path & exploring the local area. Beautifully quiet but only 10minutes walk into Porlock to access the shops and buses. Large, fully equipped kitchen / diner, and surprisingly large rooms for a cottage. Delightfully furnished & kind, friendly owners who live locally. Really enjoyed our stay, perfect for a family of four. We hope to return!
