Best food we had the whole time we were in Svaneti. We were the only people eating dinner that night and there were loads of tasty dishes for us. The host was very nice and although she spoke only a little English she tried to help us with Google translate and her children spoke English. She also helped us organise a taxi back to Mestia. And the Wi-Fi actually worked well!

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the food was good. The view from the shared terrace is beautiful. The day after, we needed to cross the river on our way to Khalde. The hosts were very helpful. They warned us about the river level rising and arranged horses for crossing. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience! It was my first time in Svaneti and IparAlto made it really memorable for me. So clean and cozy house, with all the facilities needed and best views. Very kind people. The location is a perfect stop on the hike from Mestia to Ushguli. They served us breakfast (25 lari per person) and dinner (30 lari per person). It was the best food we ate in Svaneti and the portions were enormous.

The room was newly renovated, very spacious and fragrant. Beautiful balcony with a view. We felt very comfortable here, the owner took care of us like family, she treated us well, played a musical instrument for us while we ate, she was very nice and we fell in love with her and her family even for such a short time.
