I really enjoyed my stay at Shantis Surf Camp! The room as well as the garden and kitchen were very nice and clean. Also the the Hosts were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, I would definitely stay there again. :)

The nicest hostel rooms I've stayed in with great facilities, and definitely the best kitchen I've found in any hostel in El Paredon (or Guatemala in general). The staff were super accommodating, I had an issue with my bed the first night and they were quick (and generous) to make sure it was sorted. I extended my stay several times. The hostel is perfectly social - I met great people who were up for socialising, but you don't have to deal with loud hostel music keeping you awake every night, as is the case with most other hostels in the area.

    The location was very nice, it was calm and quiet during the night but still close to all places and the sea. The kitchen was well equipet for cooking and the fridge was clean and offered a lot of space. The girls from the check-in were really nice and friendly. I liked the place itself and the atmosphere there. The respond time is really quick and they helped me with organizing my transport. They also clarified everything upfront for the check-in which was helpful.

    Good location- quick walk to the beach, restaurants etc. Fans at every bed in the dorm room (definitely needed in El Paredon!), lockers and storage boxes which was nice. Kitchen was spacious and well organised.

    Back 2 blocks from the sea in a quiet part of El Paradon this hostel was a chilled out place. Lovely vibe created by Nico & Valentina & Anna. Friendly & open hearted. It's lovely sleeping under the thatch. Mosquito net around comfortable bed & personal fan = a great nights sleep. Shady garden to lie in hammock in the heat of the day. Good Internet. Great kitchen, super clean. Outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach. I loved this hostel.
