We throughly enjoyed our stay at Teach Saoire. The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Myself and my partner made an error with the dates we had booked and Lubka and Paul accommodated our request to change last minute which we were really greatful for. Overall the cleanest and most modern apartment we have ever stayed in, we will definitely be back.

Comfortable small house in the country, fully equipped kitchen/dining room in the ground floor (+separate toilet), 2 bedrooms and bathroom/toilet in the upper floor. Thistledown is like a home from home. It has everything and more that you’d need while you’re there. Pristine clean too. Raymond is very kind and so approachable. They make a great team. Can’t recommend this place enough. My second time staying here and if I return to Ireland I’ll be back.

The property is really well kept and spotlessly clean. All of the rooms are spacious, loads of seating in the kitchen diner. A separate living room with Sky TV, Netflix and an XBox. Great Wifi signal. Outdoor seating in the back of the house which looks out across the crop fields and beyond. There is a large fridge freezer, washing machine etc, tons of towels and bedding so you don’t need to bring anything with you. Tea, Coffee sugar etc were provided which was really appreciated. Hot water and heating fully available, the house is cosy warm on a cold day. Our hosts live just down the road and made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed and appreciated the lovely accommodation and enjoyed a relaxing holiday.
