We booked a double room and ended up extending our stay. The double had windows on two sides, views of the ocean, and was spacious for the two of us. The kitchen and bathroom were right next door. The common area looked new. The kitchen had everything you may want. There are chicken and 3 very calm dogs. You can buy fresh eggs for breakfast. Vik is also ideal for a lot of activities. We did a daytrip from there to diamond beach and a guided tour to the nearby glacier. I found the location very good. Not directly near the shops and restaurants, but absolutely walkable (15 min).

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect—just outside of Vik, offering the peace and quiet of nature while still being close to everything. It was an ideal spot to watch the Northern Lights. The cabin itself was so cozy and warm with everything we needed, making us feel right at home. If you're looking for a peaceful and magical place to stay near Vik, this is it! Highly recommended, and we would love to come back! 😊🏡🔥

Cute and comfortable cottages, beautiful scenery. The location is great: about 10 minutes away from a airplane wreckage parking, 15 minutes away from Dyrholaey, Vik town with groceries and gas station is 20 min away. They have sheep, and two really nice dogs with whom we played together. Very nice stop on our round trip.
