Carla was great, very available and helpful. Found a way to communicate with us even though we didn't speak Italian and called her daughter to help with the translation. The apartment itself was also great, very comfortable and had a lot of space.

Biagio was a wonderful host from start to finish, he did everything he possibly could to welcome us with local advice and arrival instructions. The room is perched up a little stone staircase and has everything that you could need, it is very tastefully decorated and has the romantic appeal of a proper village house. Maratea is just as you would hope to find a gorgeous italian town unchanged with lots of character and friendliness. We ate at the Oenotecha, which offers wonderful ham and cheese platters and selected wines. The marina at Maratea is small but very perfectly formed. Altogether a delightful stay.
