Mako was a great host, and her house is a really special place. It is a hidden gem you would not expect to find next to the local road crossroad. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. After completing the check-in process, they personally escorted us to the villa and explained how to use the in-room facilities. What I loved most was that each villa comes with its own private rooftop terrace, where you can comfortably enjoy meals while admiring the stunning view of Mount Fuji. Dinner options are available here at a reasonable price, and you can even enjoy the meal in your room. The villa also has basic kitchenware, so preparing a simple meal yourself is definitely possible.

Incredible view over Mount Fuji from a quiet & peaceful hillside. The tents were fantastic and set on raised balconies, so it was a little bit like staying in a treehouse. Fantastic experience - definitely recommend!

Host went above and beyond by picking us up and dropping us off at the bus station and also letting us in early and leave our bags in the lobby area on the last day for us to collect later. House was very clean and well maintained.
