Love it ...host was welcoming and very helpful .showed us good restaurants close to the hostel .we went to wakayama castle and garden ..was close to everything ..happy , unfortunately we stayed only for a day cannot explore more of wakayama Thank you miss hiroko

This is the best Hostel ever!!! I felt like I just came home. We had a room for four with two bunk beds table with PC and sofa. Really like you would have at home:-) The hosts are great, they help us a lot with info about area, where to go and what to see. It's that kind of people you can count on, when you travel and you are far from home. Hostel is very nice, clean and has for showers, toilets, even washmachine and the dryer. In the kitchen is tea coffee so yop can make yourself comfortable. Really I didnt expect hostel to be like this. If I ever come back to Wakayama I would stay with them. Thanx a lot Hiroko and Kazu.

The owners obviously went to a lot of trouble to provide almost everything that was needed to try to make it comfortable (cooking utensils, condiments, cooking facilities, towels, quilts and blankets, etc...) They sent us detailed instructions on how to locate the key for entry. It is quite close to a train station and it was also very roomy.

the property is located just on the beach and the small local train station is across the street. It’s as you turn the corner to be in the beach and if you want to go around you just go on the train. It typical old Japanese style homes build in the 80’s. I like the experience of keeping in a japanese style room. it s summer guesthouse and i loved it.

I stayed for two nights and was lucky to have the room for myself. But even if that wouldn't have been the case, I think it is great value for the money. Everything is clean and very comfortable. The owner is also very nice. I would always come back.

Great place for a weekend getaway with friends. The big table was perfect to spend time together and the kitchen supplies very useful (especially the Teppanyaki plate). We enjoyed the nearby beaches, little mountain, and big mall/supermarket.

Set in Tagawa, near Ubusuna Shrine, Richiin Temple and Kouzen-ji Temple, nabe cape has free bikes.
