A lovely lodge with excellent facilities in the village of Maze. The host is very accommodating and kind. It's a great place for cyclists as it has everything you need and is comfortable, even bits of food and cold drinks to buy if you are stuck. Thank you so much. We had a great stay.

The place is incredible! How is it not booked month in advance? Located near a beautiful lake halfway between Nagoya and Takayama amidst mountains, the cabin is really big an spacious and has tons of facilities. Hanamidori is in beautiful, quiet place at the end of a village, next to a river. Unfortunately, it was raining for us, but even then, the nature around was beautiful. The place itself was plenty big for two of us, and had everything we needed inside - the paid "minibar" with drinks and snacks was a nice touch, too!

The house is very big and comes fully equipped. We spent 4 nights here and our main hoal was to give our daughter a brake from a busy travel schedule. Mister Katsuyuki was super friendly to us and especially to our little daughter. He even gave her a very special gift when we left. I really liked that, despite the language barrier, mr Katsuyuki sang was open to conversation. This made our stay evermore memorable as we learned new things about Japan and Japanese people.
