Amazing View from the beautiful room, a nice hot tube inside the bathroom, beautiful landscape. Lovely decorated pension and a really nice, amazing and helpful host. Thank you so much for helping us out. When you arrive in Gapyeong with bus, you should know that is quite hard to get to the apartment. It’s better to clarify with the host if you can be picked up (she picked us up, because we were lost). It’s possible buy food in the big supermarket next to the bus station and to let it deliver it to the pension (they even can bring you, but only one time a day). There are some guys sitting next to the supermarket. Please don’t use google maps (you’ll get lost because google isn’t up to date and doesn’t know many things). Download Naver maps. There is an English version and it’s up to date.

Loved the place, it has its charm. We were there early December, absolutely adored the little cafe downstairs which has an outdoor patio facing the river. Spent alot of time there just soaking in the view and the vibes. Christmas was around the corner so they were playing Christmas songs all day which we enjoyed. Ps: The staff there were very friendly and helped us get our bearings as to where to go and what to do in Gapyeong. Thank you for taking care of us!

Communication with the Host/Owner was great, and general, a very great place to stay.

Great apartment with lots of space to sleep for 5 people. Well equipped kitchen, washing machine. They arranged a parking place in front of the entrance on the street. We could store our luggage earlier than check- in Time. Really convinient.

This place is great for family retreat, especially when 2-3 families move together with kids. Vivaldi Ocean World and Play Park is very close, although this Sono Village Facility is not directly connected, but up in the mountains. However, with fodo and drink, for a separate family gathering, it's perfect!

Heidi is on top of a hill with its own amazing look out point and backed by larger mountains. There are several comfortable and spacious Danish styled units around a big central garden. Although it was Winter, the accommodation was very warm. We experienced a delicious barbecue and beautiful campfire during our short stay. Heidi is owned by Mr.& Mrs. Lee, a lovely and sincere couple who run Heidi with a lot of care and pride. We felt very welcomed and looked after. Mr. Lee answered our many queries with helpful information and suggestions and Mrs. Lee's culinary treats were always happily received :)). On the day of our arrival, Mr. Lee actually kindly picked us up from Vivaldi Ski Resort. Vivaldi is also accessible by bus 800 from the Tourist Site Bus Stop down the hill. This bus also goes to Chuncheon city and train station. It takes about half an hour both ways. You can use your travel cards from Seoul.

It was old style but clean and presentable. The owner helped me with my luggage at 9pm when I arrived. He also drove me to the subway the next morning. Good old fashion service that I thought was completely dead in this world today.
